Geboren bin ich in Sibirien, wo ich auch einen Teil meiner Kindheit verbracht habe. Die Kreativität und die Millionen von Ideen haben sich schon damals bemerkbar gemacht und ich war sehr früh von der Vielfältigkeit der Mode fasziniert.
2007 habe ich meine Ausbildung zur Modeschneiderin mit einer Begabtenförderung abgeschlossen. Die Genauigkeit, Geduld und das Handwerk eines Schneiders habe ich von der Pike auf gelernt.
Das Modestudium absolvierte ich an der staatlichen Modeschule in Stuttgart und verdiente mir mit meiner Abschlussmappe den zweiten Platz bei dem Hugo Boss Fashion Award. Den unbeirrbaren Wunsch ein eigenes Label zu gründen vor Augen, machte ich ein Praktikum im Kreativteam von HUGO BOSS um praktische Erfahrungen zu sammeln. Anschließend bin ich nach Nürnberg gezogen um gemeinsam mit meiner Geschäftspartnerin ein Modelabel zu gründen. Nach zwei erfahrungsreichen Jahren trennten sich unsere Wege.
Danach gründete ich mein eigenes Label, unter den Namen - MILA CARDI.
In meinem Atelier in Nürnberg fertige ich individuelle Modelle in Maßanfertigung an. Ich möchte mich ganz bewusst von der Massenproduktion distanzieren. Für mich stehen Werte wie Tradition, hohe Qualität und nachhaltige Produktion im Vordergrund.
Von minimalistischen Blusen bis zur ausgefallenen Abendroben und Hochzeitskleidern, alles ist machbar.
Jedes einzelne Kleidungsstück wird als exklusives Unikat konzipiert und in Handarbeit gefertigt.
Ich möchte meinen Kunden ausdrucksstarke und einzigartige Modelle anbieten,
mit denen sie sich identifizieren können, die aber in keinem Fall alltäglich wirken.
I was born in Russia, where I have spent most of my childhood. Already at a very young age I was fascinated with fashion and design.
In 2007 I graduated with creative honors from a Creative Dress Designer school in Stadtlauringen, Germany.
Continuing my education in fashion I completed a 2 year course of study at the State Fashion school in Stuttgart, where I graduated with a Hugo Boss Fashion Award.
I have also completed an internship at Hugo Boss following my graduation.
For two years, myself and another designer had a small start up label of our own, where I have collected experiences in the fashion world as well as the process and details of running a small business. Currently, located in Nuremberg Germany, I have my own fashion company under
the name MILA CARDI.
In my small tailor shop I create unique clothing as well as special ordered individual pieces. From sketch to the final product, I am the person behind it all. I intentionally do not mass produce my clothes. I am focused on creating pieces of high quality with attention to details and one of a kind feel. I love the idea of owning something unique and special. I want my clients to feel the love I create and work with, once they see, feel and touch the clothes of MILA CARDI.
There is nothing more rewarding than doing something I love and continuing the almost lost tradition of well made, great fitting high quality clothing.
